A Crowdsourced Film by the People, for the Movement

  • Crowdsorcery is a team of filmmakers dedicated to decentralized storytelling.

  • We’re teaming up with LGBTQ+ organizations across the US to gather videos, photos, and written stories capturing moments of queer joy, struggle, celebration, and resilience.

  • Share your experiences to feature in one-of-a-kind, community-authored film!

FAQs

  • To maximize accessibility, we’re accepting submissions through National Coming Out Day on October 11, 2025, though we plan to begin working on the film before then.

Please submit your materials and share your story at your earliest convenience! :)

  • Featured contributors will be credited in the final film as “Co-Director” or a similar title in the name that was submitted via the form.

  • We’re looking for the stories & perspectives that often go unheard—your real experience, in your own voice.

The film will prioritize the lesser-seen experiences of Pride that happen in between the parades and the protests. Think: intimate phone videos, diary entries, and selfie confessions; videos of you at home sewing the dress or scribing the sign. What does Pride look like for you?

  • No! We’re interested in your authentic Pride experience, captured in real time. If the video is out-of-focus or shaky, or if there’s a finger in the frame, we’re still interested.

  • Yes! The film’s co-director identifies as genderqueer, and the film is being co-produced by LGBTQ+ organizations and regional Prides across the nation.

  • With submissions closing in late-Summer 2025, we’ll aim to complete and release the film by Winter 2025 to support our partners with their EOY fundraising efforts!

We plan to put the film out online for free, so that the community can freely experience it.
